That is what I think of the convention speeches and all the other posturing that has been going on at two political conventions this end of summer.
I was a bit more interested in hearing some of the RNC speeches: (being a conservative thinker and voter)
I really liked Governors Nikki Haley and Susannah Martinez and Condi Rice.
I have not had the DNC one on hardly at all but I watched the daily news on my favorite cable channel and the vote to alter the DNC platform was going on at that moment so I saw the chairman..Anthony—————-(hard name) call for voice vote to restore the word “GOD” into the platform and listened to the crowd scream “Yea” loudly and then another scream “NO” equally as loudly. Poor Anthony….he called for a second voice vote with the same screams for YEA and NO about equal in volume. He looked around him for some help from backstage (it appeared) and then took a third voice vote which was the same as the first two…equal decibel levels for both YEA and NO but the third time Anthony declared that the YEAs had won. The crowd erupted with Boos and Hisses and much worse I am sure. It was a humiliating moment for the nation to see. They same kind of reactions happened on the voice vote to alter the platform and make it say that Jerusalem IS the capitol of Israel.
It too “passed” by voice vote and then got booed hissed and screamed at by the opposers. What a riot!!!!!
I nearly threw myself on the floor in laughter.
Today the FBI is investigating a female NY delegate for saying on camera with sound that she would like to “kill Romney”. She can be taken away and locked up for awhile…like for 8 more years or so.
The DNC got out-rated by the Football game last night between Dallas and NY Giants..also some of the popular tripe on TV like the America’s Got Talent formats…..we really have a bunch of deep people in this country.
