IN an article by Ronald Kessler in INSIDE WASHINGTON , for August 2012:

Joe Biden who likes to portray himself as the “poor man” in either Congress or the Whitehouse at present—who talks on and on about his being “the new sheriff in town ” when the Obama administration assigned him to figure out how to cut spending and waste in government….this same Joe Biden is making trips out of and back to Washington DC every weekend on Air Force 2..the plane that costs taxpayers $22,000.00 per hour of flying. Biden does not take Air Force 2 for the back and forth trip only…on most Saturdays he flies on it back to Andrews Air Force Base so he can catch a game of golf with the Prez!!!! Four back and forth trips on one weekend. Do the math.
Each of these Saturday golf games costs
taxpayers $20,000 dollars to say nothing of the cost of also flying in a Marine Helicopter from his residence to the air base to take Air Force 2 to Delaware.
In addition to that the Secret Service has to rent condos in Wilmington, Delaware for agents to protect him on weekends.
One of the Secret Service agents spoke about this to Kessler:
“Biden leaves every Friday from Joint Base Andrews so he get lifts from the observatory(his luxurious residence in DC) via Marine Two to Andrews Air Force Base, takes the trip to Delaware via Air Force 2; lands in Delaware and stays the weekend and then comes back on Sunday night. Every three or four weeks when it’s warm he gets up there on Saturday and then will fly Air Force back on Saturday. While Air Force 2 is sitting on the tarmac at Andrews, {Biden} goes and plays golf with the president at Andrews Air Force Base and then gets back on that plane and flies back to Delaware again. Let me tell you something..that is egregious.”

The Secret Service agent says that since Air Force 2 parks at Andrews , Obama is obviously aware that Biden is running up a huge government tab for each game of golf he plays with him.
In addition to these “perks” for Biden he has free use of his residence at the Naval Observatory..and his yearly salary of $230,700 dollars.

So between Obama and Biden these past 3 and one half years..they have spent more time flying on government planes for outings or campaigning or playing golf or in Obama’s case, taking his wife for a date night to New York on Air Force ONe which costs about $22.000 dollars per trip also than doing anything productive in their suposed jobs as president and vice president.
These two politicians know how to GAME THE SYSTEM for sure!!!
It would be interesting to total up the costs of all the Obama’s vacations including all the secret service agents required, all Michelle’s separate vacations, teen ager Malia’s vacation to Mexico last spring, all the golf games on Saturdays at Andrews including the double trips by Biden for golf games..and then add up all the campaigning costs done using goverment planes and all the rest that goes with it.
WE would be staggering from the total and we would wonder why our deficit and debt cannot be paid off if such money was applied to that item!!!
But then that is not really money because we do not have any in our treasury….our officials are spending money like drunken sailors..money that does not exist but what the heck? ” We are IN so let’s have a good time while we are at it.”
Let the good times roll for Biden and Obama! Let the rest of the Poor take their lumps and their joblessness.
And the heck with any governing!!!! We have things to do and places to go that have nothing to do with the good of this natiion!!!!!
