The report on the Penn State scandal involving Jerry Sandusky the convicted molester/abuser of young boys in Penn State locker rooms has been investigated by Louis Freeh former government official (FBI I think).
Freeh issued a scathing report about the Penn State football staff and the administration but especially about Joe Paterno who was like a mini – god at PSU.
A commenter whose internet name is “Eileen__For__Freedom__Liberty” wrote this on comments for an article about Freeh’s stinging report.
“Everything–everything this man {Paterno} used to represent has gone down the toilet…now that the real Joe Paterno has been revealed. A great football coach to be sure but a poor excuse for a human being and a father. It does not matter that he won game after game for years and years, that doesn’t matter to men who have to carry the legacy of abuse for the rest of their lives….
Joe Paterno deserves no accolades for anything…..he will go down in history as caring more for an institution and the game of football than he did about young boys”
A fallen idol indeed. Recently I received a cartoon from a friend that showed a group meeting…. concluding that the issue they discussed ought to be prayed about. The next panel showed the group bowing down before an Idol Image representing SPORTS. How fitting for our sick society that worships the Joe Paternos and their “records” for wins more than it worships the true God.

She is not a fallen idol to her Ultra Liberal supporters in her California district but she deserves to fall and crack into a million pieces like the Golden Calf of the Hebrews in ancient times of the Exodus journey.
Madame Moneybags (Nancy Pelosi) freely criticizes Mitt Romney for “being rich and putting money into overseas accounts” But in pointing at others she has 4 fingers pointing back at her.
A 2011 financial disclosure statement by Pelosi reveals that she received between 1 million and 5 million in parnership income from Matthews’ International Capital Mamangement LLC… a company that emphasizes that it has a ‘singular focus on investing in Asia’
A quick trip to the company’s website s reveals that it has a featured post extolling the virtues of outsourcing.’
Madame Moneybags needs to watch her big mouth. She has mud all over her facelifts.
So does Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the outspoken chair of Democratic pols and politics. Schultz is into overseas markets too, but that does not stop her from criticizing “the rich”…those people they consider ememies.
But women like Pelosi and Schultz are just as wealthy–if not more so in Pelosi’s case..than those they throw stones at.
